Lotella "Lola"
Studio Director & Head Teacher
Started dancing at Tulare Dance Works at the age of 12 under the ownership of Michelle Lapp. After graduating from Tulare Western HS she went on to COS. At COS she majored in Dance and obtained her A.A. Degree. She danced under the direction of Director Linda Amaral. Lotella has taken classes under the direction of Jeremy & Missy Yavasile & Martha Graham. She has trained in jazz, tap, lyrical, & contemporary/modern dance, with some hip hop.
Fun Fact: Has her first book called Forever Love: The Start of Something New published on Wattpad. She is currently working on the second story to the first book, called Forever Love: Our Future Has A Purpose, also being published on Wattpad.
Aleena
Teacher
Aleena started dancing at the age of 6 years old. She has trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip-hop. She did gymnastics for one year and took acrobatics classes to advance in her flexibility and tricks. She has taken a class with Gianna Martello from the TV Show Dance Moms. She has also had multiple classes with Master Teacher Guy Groove at The Playground LA. Aleena currently is a cheerleader at Tulare Western High School and is the captain of the dance team called Dance Dynamix.
Fun Fact: Her first language is Spanish. She plans to work in the medical field in the future. She loves traveling and shopping.
Fabian
Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Lyrical & Tap Teacher
Fabian is excited for his fourth year being apart of the DCDC Family. He graduated from Fresno State with a BA in Dance. He also has an A.A. Degree in Dance from College of Sequoias along with a B.A. Degree in Elementary Teaching Preparation. Fabian really enjoys working with kids. He like choreographing routines to upbeat music.
Fun Fact: His goal is to be involved in the dance community all around the world. He would like to one day travel to New York to get additional dance training.
Jaila
Teacher
Jaila has been dancing with DCDC since the day we opened doors. She had started her dance training with Ms. Lola at a local community center several years prior. Jaila took a year of dance classes at College of the Sequoias. She is trained in acrobatics/gymnastics, ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical and has taken a semester of tap.
Fun fact: Jaila is engaged to be married. She is a cat lover and is a cat mom to multiple cats.
Kelsey
Dance Teacher
Kelsey loves choreographing and has a natural eye for lyrical dance. She has trained in lyrical, jazz, and contemporary. She worked with recital students for two years, this year she is teaching in different areas. She danced three years here at the studio. She made the freshman cheer team for El Diamante High School.
Fun Fact: She enjoys music and likes to go to Starbucks.
Jenni
Co-Teacher Jazz/Hip-Hop & Pom Cheer
Jenni has been dancing at El Diamante High School, and starting her 3rd year in advance dance class. She has trained in lyrical, jazz, contemporary and hip-hop. Hip-hop is her favorite style of dance to choreograph for, she absolutely loves it. She loves choreographing other styles too. Even though she is only starting her junior year of high school she is currently completing classes at College Of The Sequoias to pursue her dream of becoming a registered nurse.
Fun Fact: Her dream is to attend Stanford University. Her favorite drink is the pink drink from Starbucks.
Gage
Gymnastics Coach
Gage is starting his 1st year with us here at DCDC and he is excited to be able to help out! He has been an athlete for over 15 years and has been involved with various sports throughout those years. He's coached gymnastics and tumbling for 3 years and is currently on his 7th season of coaching cheerleading at E Diamante High School. He loves working with kids and helping them improve their skills and overall athleticism.
Fun Fact: Although having 3 jobs and being a full-time collegiate student/athlete, Gage still manages to find time to invest in his hobby of crafting and wood working.
Madi
Co-Teacher Jazz & Hip-Hop
Madi has been dancing at El Diamante High School for 2 years now, and starting her 3rd year and is in advance dance class. She has trained in lyrical, jazz, contemporary and hip-hop. She loves choreographing hip-hop dances.
Fun Fact: She plans on joining the military one day. She loves to hang out with her friends and go shopping.
